Did you install a ground or air source heat pump after the 15th July 2009? You may be eligible for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). This scheme has now been open for three months meaning that those who also applied for RHPP before 20 May 2013 can now apply.
How to apply?
1) Make sure you are applying during the correct phase, find out more here >>
2) Read the OFGEM essential guide for applicants, available here >>
3) Find out if you require metering.
4) Have the following documents ready:
- MCS certificate
- Green Deal report (not required for self builders)
- Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
5) Apply on the OFGEM website >
If you applied for RHPP on or after 20 May 2013, you will have to wait for the 3rd phase of application which opens 9th October 2014 (six months after the scheme opened). Find out more about phasing here >>
