The Energy Saving Trust has announced an extension to the Home Energy Scotland renewables loan scheme. These interest free loans are provided by the Scottish Government offering up to £10,000 for owner occupiers in Scotland who want to install a domestic renewables system such as a ground source heat pump or air source heat pump.
If you are a Scottish householder, the Home Energy Scotland loan could help with the upfront costs of a heat pump, so you could then benefit from lower energy bills and payments from the domestic RHI (expected to launch by Easter).
New applications will continue to be accepted on a first come first served basis subject to the overall availability of loan funds.
To apply for this loan please contact Home Energy Scotland on 0808 808 2282.
Or to find out whether your property is suitable for a ground or air source heat pump, please call Source Energy on 0800 856 4328 and one of our experts will be happy to help.
